Summary
JobHunter AI helps you find jobs that fit your resume and send applications you have approved from your own Gmail. Your workspace is private to your account. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
What we store
- Account: your name, email address, a securely hashed password (or your Google account ID if you sign in with Google), optional two-step verification settings, and sign-in sessions.
- Career profile: resumes you upload and the text we read from them, your skills, experience and job preferences.
- Your job search: job listings collected for you, match scores, saved applications, drafts, cover letters, notes, interviews and recruiter contacts you add.
- Gmail connection (optional): encrypted access tokens, plus the details of application emails you send and recruiter replies to them.
- Usage records: counts of AI requests per day, security logs and administrator actions.
How we use Gmail
If you connect Gmail, JobHunter AI asks Google for permission to send email and to read email. It sends only messages you have reviewed and approved, and it reads only messages in the threads of applications you sent through JobHunter AI, to show recruiter replies and update your application status. Gmail content is not sent to AI services, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone else. You can disconnect Gmail at any time in Settings, and you can also remove access from your Google Account permissions page.
JobHunter AI’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
AI features
AI features are off until an administrator approves them for your account. When you use one (writing a draft, reviewing a job, improving your profile), the relevant part of your resume and the job details are sent to the AI provider chosen by the administrator (for example NVIDIA, OpenAI, Google or Anthropic) to produce the result. AI output can be wrong, so always check it before you send anything.
Services we rely on
- Hosting and database providers that store the app and your data.
- Google, for sign-in and Gmail when you choose to use them.
- An email delivery service for account emails such as verification and password reset.
- Job boards, which receive search terms such as job titles and locations (not your resume).
- Employer websites, which we may read to find a published recruiter address for a job you open.
Your choices and rights
- Download your applications as a CSV file from the Progress page.
- Edit or delete resumes and your profile at any time.
- Disconnect Gmail in Settings.
- Delete your account from My account. This permanently removes your profile, resumes, jobs, applications and Gmail connection.
- Contact us at automationtesting2510@gmail.com with any other request, including access to or correction of your data.
Security
Passwords are hashed, Gmail and AI keys are encrypted, connections use HTTPS, and every change requires a valid session. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and turn on two-step verification.
Retention
We keep your data while your account exists. When you delete your account, your workspace is deleted straight away; limited security and audit records may be kept for up to 400 days.
Changes and contact
We will update this page if our practices change. Questions? Contact automationtesting2510@gmail.com.
